In Kashmir valley, two militants including a self-styled divisional commander of Lashker-e-Toiba, were killed today in an encounter in Sopore area of Baramula district. AIR Srinagar correspondent reports that operation in the area is still on and identity of the slain militants is being ascertained.

Meanwhile in South Kashmir district of Kulgam, the police has arrested three Hizbul Mujahidin militants, including an area commander.
