In Bangladesh, Two militants – a woman and a teenager blew themselves up during a police raid on their hideout in a house in Dhaka today. The woman militant detonated a suicide vest she was wearing under her burqa as she came out of the house after police gave them a 2 minute ultimatum to surrender after being repeatedly asked to come out. <br/><br/>The explosion injured a 7-year child accompanying her as well as a policeman, both of whom are being treated in a hospital. The teenage militant who blasted several grenades also blew himself up inside the house. A team of the Counter Terrorism & Transnational Crime Unit had surrounded the 3-storied house in Ashkona area of Dhaka early this morning. <br/><br/>Officials said, 4 including the wife and daughter of slain Neo-JMB military commander Major (retd) Jahidul Islam and the wife and daughter of absconding militant Musa surrendered in the morning when they were asked to surrender. However the raid continued in the afternoon with law enforcers exchanging gunfire with the militants in which another policeman was injured. Talking to reporters after the raid, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said, the main target of today's anti-militants drive was wanted Neo-JMB leader Musa who however managed to flee from the hideout.
