In Odisha, two hardcore Maoists have been arrested in Lungura ghat area under K. Balang police limit in Sundergarh district. Odisha Police DIG (Western Range), Jaswant Jethua said, the red rebels identified as Bishram alias Sudhir Bhuiyan and Habil Haro belonging to west Singbhum district of Jharkhand, were nabbed today by security force personnel during a search operation in the Saranda forest. He said that the Maoists were planning to attack ‘soft targets’ like security forces’ camps, training centres. The police have recovered a number of live cartridges and a country made pistol from possession of Maoists.
