In US, 2 persons were killed and more than 110 injured after a passenger train collided with a goods train in South Carolina today. <br/><br/>The wreck took place around a switchyard about 16 kilometers south of Columbia. Governor Henry McMaster said that Amtrak's Silver Star train was on its way from New York to Miami with eight crew members and about 140 passengers when it plowed into the CSX goods train. <br/><br/>The governor said investigators have yet to determine how the train ended up on that stretch of side track. <br/><br/>The National Transportation Safety Board sent investigators. It was the third deadly wreck involving Amtrak in less than two months.
