Two persons were killed and at least 9 injured in a stampede at New Delhi Railway Station this afternoon. <br/><br/>A 35 year old woman and a child were killed when the platform of Bihar Sampark Kranti Express train was changed at the last minute.<br/><br/>The Railway Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee ordered an enquiry into the incident and announced a compensation of two lakh rupees each to the next of kin of the deceased. <br/><br/>She said, 50,000 rupees will be given to the grievously injured and those who sustained minor injuries will be paid 15000 rupees each.<br/> <br/>AIR correspondent reports, the injured persons have been admitted to the LNJP and RML hospitals for the treatment. <br/><br/>The stampede occurred around 2:50 PM when Bihar Sampark Kranti Express was scheduled to arrive on Plaform No-13 but it was changed to the Platform no-12 at the last minute before departure. <br/><br/>Passengers pushed and jostled to board the train with their baggage which resulted in the incident.
