2 killed, 5 injured as hotel catches fire in J&K's Ramban district

<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, two people were killed and five others injured when a hotel caught fire in the Ramban district of Jammu division on Thursday. AIR Correspondent reports that a fire occurred in Hotel Maa Shanti in Sanasar tourist place and spread fast engulfing the entire area. Fire tenders were pressed into service along with locals and police to douse off the blaze, which has been brought under control. Those injured have been hospitalised. <br />''<br />''A magisterial inquiry headed by ADC Ramban has been ordered into the matter. Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam said, all possible help is being provided to the injured who are being shifted out for better medical care. Further assistance will also be provided as per requirement, he added. Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, has expressed grief over the loss of lives in the fire accident. He conveyed his condolences and sympathies to the kin of those who have died in the accident and the injured. The LG also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and directed the DC, Ramban to render all assistance to the kin of victims. Union Minister in Prime Minister's Office Dr. Jitendra Singh also extended his condolences to the bereaved families.</span><br />
