In Mumbai, two persons died and fifteen were injured after they fell from a local train between Nahur and Bhandup stations on central railway line this morning during heavy rush. Speaking to AIR, Central Railway PRO Mr. A K Singh said that the train originating from Badlapur was going towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) when the incident took place around 9am . He said that the possible reason of the incident could be overcrowding.Railway Minister Mukul Roy has announced an ex-gratia of two Lakh rupees each to the next of kin of those killed in a suburban train in Mumbai. Expressing grief over the mishap the minister in his condolence message expressed sympathies with the bereaved families. Two persons, who were leaning precariously from a jam-packed coach of a suburban train, were killed and 15 others were injured in the incident.
