Two threat messages of an ISIS attack were found in the men’s washrooms of the domestic terminal 1A of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai last evening. The ground handling staff found the messages scribbled in cubicles of two washrooms in the arrivals section of terminal last evening. The messages warned that an attack will take place on the Republic Day.
Security has been beefed up in the airport in wake of the messages. However, police suspect mischief by internal airport staff in this matter. A similar message was found scribbled in the washroom of the T2 terminal on 6th of January, which warned of an attack on 10th of January.
