Two Iraqi security officers have been killed after being kidnapped by gunmen in Salahudin province, north of Baghdad. <br/><br/>A provincial police source today said an army officer and a police officer were kidnapped by unknown gunmen yesterday while driving in a private car near the town of Sherqat, some 110 km north of the provincial capital of Tikrit. <br/><br/>Today the Iraqi police found the bodies of the two officers decapitated near a village where the victims lived. The police source said the Iraqi security forces have conducted a search campaign in the area looking for the gunmen.<br/>
