2 goods trains derailed in UP

At least eight wagons of a goods train derailed near Ramabagh railway station in Allahabad this morning while in another incident three wagaons of another goods train derailed near chandari station in Kanpur today.Giving details, the north eastern Railway spokesperson said first incident occurred in Allahabad when a goods train was going towards Varanasi from Allahabad . He said that the derailment affected the rail traffic for more than 10 hours between Allahabad and Varanasi route and more than six trains had been diverted.The Railway PRO said that affected track is being restored and alternative track has been opened for the movements of train without any diversion.After two consecutive derailements almost at the same place the North Eastern Railway General Manager K. B. L. Mittal inspected the derailment spot in Allahabad and said that inquiry is being conducted and action will be taken if any officials found responsible for these incidents.On Friday, three wagons of another goods train was also derailed near the same place.In the second incident near chandari in Kanpur today three wagons of a goods train derailed. However, the North Central railway PRO said the derailment occurred at the side track of FCI rail godown therefore there is no disturbance on rail traffic on this route.
