In the Incheon Asian Games, India's Seema Poonia in women's discus throw and mixed doubles tennis pair of Sania Mirza and Saketh Myneni win gold medals today.Seema Poonia threw 61.03 meters to bag the gold. Her sister, Krishna Poonia figuring in the same event finished fourth. Besides gold, two bronze also came from athletics today. O P Jaisha finished third to grab bronze in women's 1500 meter and Naveen Kumar won bronze in men's 3000 meter steeplechase.Overall, India bagged two gold, two Silver and three bronze medals today. India's overall medals tally now is: 6 gold 7 silver and 29 bronze.In the final of mixed doubles, the duo of Sania Mirza and Saketh Myneni defeated Chinese Taipei pair 6-4, 6-3. Earlier, the first medal of the day came from tennis in form of a silver. In men's doubles event, Sanam Singh and Saketh Myneni settled for silver. They lost to hosts Korean pair in final 5-7, 6-7.Wrestling brought a silver and a bronze today. Grappler Bajrang missed out on a gold in the 61 kg weight class. He had to be content with a silver. Bajrang lost to Iran's Masoud Esmaeil in finals. In the 74 kg weight class, grappler Narsingh Yadav bagged bronze. Narsingh won the bout against Japanese wrestler, 9-7.In Hockey, Indian women's team go down to Korea1-3 in the semifinal. India will play Japan for bronze medal.In Boxing, Vikas Krishnan booked quarter final berth, whereas Kuldeep Singh, Gaurav Bhiduri and Mandeep Jangra bowed out from competition after their quarterfinal loss.In Table Tennis, the pair of Amalraj Anthony and Madhurika Patkar booked a Mixed Doubles pre-quarterfinal berth, with Ankita Das advancing to the Singles Round-of-32. In the Women's Doubles, the duo of Ankita Das and Poulomi Ghatak progressed to the last-16, with Madhurika Patkar and Neha Aggarwal also making to the pre-quarterfinals.In Shooting, Mairaj Ahmad Khan finished fifth, Parampal Singh 24th and Arozepal Sandhu 29th in the Skeet Men's qualification.In Sepaktakraw, men's team defeated Brunei Darussalam and Nepal in regular preliminary round but the women's team lost to Indonesia.In Kabaddi men's team dominated Thailand in a group match.Canoe events had Indian representations in final but we failed to convert medals in any event.
