<span style="color: #222222;">As part of Vande Bharat mission, two fights carrying  around 400 expatriates from Gulf regions will be arriving in Kochi, in Kerala soon.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, flight from Muscat carrying 220 passengers, followed by flight from Kuwait with 180 passengers, is about to arrive in Kochi international airport soon.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The airport is fully equipped for the screening and transfer of returnees to quarantine centres following the WHO COVID-19 exit protocols. Another flight from Doha is also scheduled to arrive in Kochi, early morning at 1:40 am tomorrow. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, 2 more COVID-19 cases are confirmed in Kerala. The newly confirmed cases are people who had returned from Abu Dhabi and Dubai to Kerala on 7th May and are presently under treatment in hospitals in Kochi and Kozhikode. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the situation is serious and called for high . </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Vijayan said all precautions are being done and that the newly confirmed patients were directly shifted to hospitals, on showing symptoms in the medical screening in airport and all the fellow passengers are in strict observation in quarantine centres. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister clarified that there will be a nodal officer to overlook the matters returnees from abroad and the local self govts and district administration is given the charge to ensure surveillance and proper medical care at all COVID care centres. Presently 17 active COVID-19 cases are there in Kerala. </span>
