The 11th North East Business Summit today began in New Delhi. The two-day event is an initiative to facilitate investment, highlight strengths of the North-East Region and business opportunities which North-East has to offer. <br/><br/>In a video message, on the occasion, Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu said an e-commerce portal will soon be launched to sell NER handicrafts and handloom worldwide on the IRCTC website. He said the Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council has assured providing land for expansion of the rail link to Darjeeling, which will be further extended to Sikkim. <br/><br/>Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Minister Jitendra Singh will address the conclave tomorrow.
