2 day Indo-Pak Home Secy level talks begins in Islamabad

A two-day Home and Interior Secretaries level talks between India and Pakistan has begun in Islamabad. Terrorism and action against militants responsible for Mumbai terror attacks will be high on the agenda. Issue of fake Indian currency notes and drug trafficking will also figure prominently in the talks apart from humanitarian issues. Our Correspondent adds that a pact to relax the visa regime is expected to be inked during the talks. The visit comes in the backdrop of Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari's visit to India on 8th of last month during which the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh had stressed the need for Pakistan to take firm action to curb terrorism to enable India to make forward movement in the bilateral relationship.
