Two-day Executive and General Council Meetings of DMK will begin in Coimbatore today. The Executive Meeting will be held this evening and the General Council will meet on Sunday.The meetings will discuss crucial issues like the party’s defeat in the assembly election, the 2G spectrum scam and the arrest of top party leadersin the case, land grab cases against party leaders in the state apart from the organisational matters of the party.Party President and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi will chair the meeting. Party General Secretary K. Anbazhagan, Former Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Union Minister M.K. Alagiri and other party top leaders will participate.
