2 civilians killed in J&K fire

In Kashmir valley, two civilians were killed and several others got injured as security forces opened fire on protesters at Amargard in sopore town in Baramula district this afternoon. The situation in the entire valley is tense now as despite curfew like restrictions there were protests and clashes at several places after Friday prayers. A youth was earlier cortically injured in chanapora area of Srinagar city amid protests and clashes. Police sources say twenty police personnel were also injured in such clashes across the valley. Meanwhile government has decided to constitute local advisory councils in the valley to seek cooperation of civil society in restoration of peace and normalcy in the valley. Prominent citizens and elders will be part of such councils at the grass root level.
