In Punjab, for the first time, two women constables of Border Security Force (BSF) have shot dead an allaged Pakistani intruder at Dera Baba Nanak border post in Gurdaspur, Sunday.According to BSF sources, the duo was on petrol duty when they observed suspicious movement near border fence. Despite allowing him to surrender, the intruder tried to run away. The brave women constables shot him dead. Although the intruder was not carrying any weapon or contraband but said to be a courier.Both the BSF personnel, who are part of the force for the last three years, have been rewarded by the DIG, BSF, Gurdaspur, today.The Chief Minister, Parkash Singh Badal has also felicitated the duo and lauded the exemplary courage and bravery shown by them.
