2 BSF jawans injured in firing by Pak troops along LoC

In Jammu & Kashmir, in a fresh ceasefire violation Pakistani troops today fired few sniper shots at Indian position in Nowgam Sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir's Kupwara district injuring 2 BSF personnel. Sources said Pakistani troops resorted to firing in Nowgam sector around 12.30 pm, near Hira post near Tutmar Gali injuring a Sub Inspector and constable of 119 battalion of BSF. Army and BSF troops also retaliated in a befitting manner. <br/><br/>The latest ceasefire violation in Nowgam, 120 km northwest of Srinagar headquarters, took place on a day when delegation of BSF and Pakistani Rangers are meeting in New Delhi to discuss border issues. In last two months, four ceasefire violations have taken place in Nowgam sector, in which an Army JCO and two BSF men were killed.
