Minister of State for Communications (Independent Charge) Manoj Sinha has said, 2.4 lakh gram panchayats are being connected through optical fibre network for better connectivity. <br/><br/>Inaugurating a new generation network exchange in Guwahati today, he said, the Centre is committed to provide all support to Assam for smooth connectivity. The minister said, the Digital India program will bridge the digital gap. He said, emphasis has been given for better connectivity in border areas.
