India faced tough conditions yesterday as pacer Suranga Lakmal knocked off opener KL Rahul and skipper Virat Kohli without any score and Shikhar Dhawan for 8 in a superb opening spell as the hosts were left reeling at 17 for 3 after 11.5 overs when bad light stopped play twice. Suranga Kamal ended the day with 3 wickets without conceding any run. Earlier, visiting skipper Dinesh Chandimal won the toss and opted to bowl. The match started three and half hours late due to wet ground conditions.
