India beat Sri Lanka by 62 runs in first T20 International of the three-match series being played at Lucknow. 
Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to field at the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.

India set a target of 200 runs before Sri Lanka. In reply Sri Lanka could only manage 137 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
