India will take on Sri Lanka at Pune this evening, in the first T-20 match. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm Indian time. The three match series, comes before Asia Cup which is to be played in T-20 format for the first time and T-20 World Cup. Indian side looks formidable under captain MS Dhoni at the moment, however, Virat Kohli has been rested. The team composition is likely to remain same but the uncapped Pawan Negi might make his debut. On the other hand, Sri Lankan side is injury prone and a lot of senior players have been rested. An inexperienced side is to be fielded against India in today's encounter. The home team will look to retain their number one spot in the ICC T20 Championship table by winning this series, which they had gained after a 3-Nil victory over Australia last month.
