The first session of the newly elected Legislative Assembly of Jharkhand began in Ranchi on Monday. <br/> <br/>Protem Speaker Teklal Mahto administered oath to 69 elected members in the pre-lunch session. The filing of nomination for the Speaker's post will be taken up in post lunch session.<br/> <br/>The brief session of the Assembly will conclude on 9th of this month. The Shibu Soren Government will seek vote of confidence on the floor of the House on January 7.<br/>
