The First phase in UP for census -2011 has began on Sunday. In Lucknow it has started from the Chief Minister’s residence. The District Magistrate and other census officials have collected first hand information from Chief Minister Mayawati. The census work will be done in all 71 districts of state. For this mammoth task about 4 lakh enumerators will visit each and every home and 64 thousand supervisors are also have been deputed.<br/> <br/>In the first phase the census is being conducted in UP from 16th May to 30th June2010. <br/> <br/>Under the first phase the data of the number of houses in the state and information related to National Population Register will be collected by the census Enumerators.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile the UP Chief Minster has written a letter to Prime Minster and requesting him to hold caste based census, for ensuring socio-economic and educational development of OBC.<br/>
