The first ever meeting of provincial assemblies in Nepal have been concluded. The maiden historic meeting of state assembly in province 1 and 4 were held today. The newly elected members attended meeting at their respective temporary provincial headquarters. <br/><br/>The meetings in other five provinces had already been concluded. All seven provincial assemblies have fixed the dates for speaker's election, which will take place next week. <br/><br/>Meanwhile preparations for government formation are on and leaders of winning parties are busy to finalise chief ministerial candidates. With the promulgation of new constitution in 2015 Nepal has adopted federalism and first time provincial assembly elections were held last year. <br/><br/>CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Center) left alliance secured majority in all states except province 2. The two prominent parties of Madhes, Sanghiya Samjawadi Forum Nepal and Rashtriya Janata Party Nepal got majority in Province 2.
