1st cricket test between India-Sri Lanka ends in draw

The first cricket test between India and Sri Lanka has ended in a draw. Chasing a victory target of 231 runs, Sri Lanka were reduced to 75 for 7 when bad light forced early end of the match at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Earlier today, India declared their second innings with a total lead of 230 runs. Captain Virat Kohli notched up his 18th test hundred remaining not out at 104. India declared when they were 352 for 8. Earlier, KL Rahul made 79, Shikhar Dhawan 94, and Cheteshwar Pujara 22.
