In Sikkim, the first batch of Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims for this year will be flagged off in Gangtok today. This group of 48 pilgrims will continue its onward Journey in a bus through Nathula pass at height of about 14 ft. thousand and reach China border on 20th June this month. <br/><br/>The entire journey till Mansarovar is expected to be completed in 21 days. The state administration has made extensive arrangements on way to Nathula for weather acclimatization for pilgrims on board. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the Kailash-Manasarovar Yatra via Nathula was flagged from New Delhi on Sunday. The Mansarovar yatri after spending two nights each at 15th Mile and Sherethang area will reach Nathula in four days. <br/><br/>The state administration and the army deployed along Indo -China border are prepared to help those pilgrims having breathing or any other height related sickness even the helicopter services would be utilized in case of any emergency. <br/><br/>All together about 350 pilgrims will make their Journey in eight batches this year. The Chinese authority will take travel and other responsibility of these pilgrims soon after they cross Nathula border on 20th June. <br/><br/>According to State Tourism Development Corporation the second and third batch of Kailash Mansarovar Yatri is scheduled to arrive in Gangtok on 20th and subsequently on 27th June this month while remaining batches will conduct its journey during month of July.<br/>
