The first AIIMS-like hospital for Ayurveda,Yoga and Naturopathy ,Unani,Siddha and Homeopathy,AYUSH , is being set up in the national capital and is likely to become fully operational in four months. In a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for AYUSH, Shripad Yesso Naik said the Centre encourages setting up of AYUSH dispensaries, hospitals and AIIMS-like institutions in states. He said, under National AYUSH Mission, the Centre provides funds to states for setting up a 150-bed AYUSH Hospital in each district and funds are also given for running and maintenance of such hospitals.
