The 19th National Veterans Table Tennis Championship started at Paljor Indoor Stadium in Gangtok today. The Sports Minister N.K. Pradhan inaugurated the the six-day event organized by the Sikkim Veterans Table Tennis Association. Thirty-eight teams from 24 states, Union Territory of Chandigarh and 4 institutions from across the country are taking part in the championship. Some eight hundred men and women in the age group of 40 and above are taking part in veterans tournament.
