The Supreme Court today stayed till further orders the trial against former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar in a 1984 anti-Sikh riots case.A bench comprising Justices P Sathasivam and B S Chauhan also issued notices to CBI on a petition filed by Sajjan Kumar, challenging a Delhi High Court order directing day-to-day trial in the case in which he is facing charges of murder and rioting.The High Court had also directed the trial court to finish the trial in a year. Since July, the trial is being conducted in Karkardooma court on a day-to-day basis.
