The BJP today joined the Akali Dal in its demand seeking a fresh charge sheet against those accused in the 1984 riots. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, BJP spokesperson Sushma Swaraj backed the Akali Dal’s plea for expediting the process for delivering justice to the victims of 1984 riots. Akali Dal leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal said a fresh charge-sheet should be filed against the accused on the basis of the report from Nanavati commission.
