In Uttar Pradesh 193 candidates are left in the fray for biennial elections to legislative council. Eighteen candidates have withdrawn their nomination. Total 923 polling stations will be set up for 36 seats and more than 1.25 lakh voters are eligible to cast their votes on 7th of January. The counting will take place on 9th January.<br/>
