In Libya, at least ten militants and nine pro-government fighters were killed in the clashes in Sirte. Military sources said ten IS militants killed in the clashes with forces loyal to the country's Government of National Accord, GNA. <br/><br/>According to Medical sources, nine pro-government fighters were also killed and 40 others injured in the clashes. Media office of the GNA said in Tripoli that three car bombs driven by jihadists were destroyed before reaching their targets. <br/><br/>It said, the forces are advancing on the last holdouts of Daesh in the only district of Sirte still held by IS. <br/><br/>Sirte was an IS stronghold before forces loyal to the country's Government of National Accord launched an offensive against the jihadists in May.
