Atleast 19 people got injured today after a portion of a 2-storey building collapsed in Bhendi Bazar area of south Mumbai. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation disaster control room, portion on the west side of the 1st floor of Jamnadas building in Bhendi Bazar area collapsed around 11’o clock this morning. All the injured have been admitted in JJ hospital. According to fire brigade sources, around five people are still feared to be trapped under the debris. Relief and rescue operations are on. The reason behind the collapse is still not known.
