The 18th Kolkata International Film Festival has began. One hundred and eighty films from 60 countries directed by 120 directors are being exhibited during the festival.

The 8 day festival was inaugurated by Bollywood’s matinee idol Amitabh Bachchan in the presence of another Bollywood star Shaharukh Khan in Kolkata yesterday.

Three Bollywood stars Mithun Chaktaborty, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma were also present apart from a host of other actor and actress from the Tollywood Film and Television Industry.

The main theme of this year’s Kolkata International Film festival is Africa.
