18th Delhi Book Fair begins

Book lovers have started flocking Delhi Book Fair stalls at Pragati Maidan in the national capital. The 18th Fair opened today will display products of over 230 publishers from various countries including Pakistan, China, United States, France and Germany. The theme of the nine – day fair book fair this year is “E-books” which will remain the center-stage attraction.

Inaugurating the Book Fair, Delhi Leutinet Governor Tejendra Khanna said that publishers should adopt the latest technology keeping in mind the fast changing world and the need of the younger generation which is e-books and pocket books.

AIR Correspondent reports that feature films based on novels of Indian authors will be screened at the Shakuntalam Convention Centre to mark 100 years of Indian Cinema. The fair will reaming open to public from 11. A.M to 8 P.M.
