<span style="color: #222222;">Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said that a total of  189 sports authority of India (SAI) training centres are functional across the country. <br />''<br />'' In a written reply in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday the minister said, SAI sports promotional schemes are implemented across the country to identify talented sportspersons and nurture them to excel at the national and international levels. He said the athletes from all the SAI promotional schemes are performing well at national and international competitions.</span><br />
