Karnataka reported 18,324 new Covid cases and 514 deaths yesterday. Total active Covid cases in state stand at 2, 86,798. There were 24,036 persons discharged after recovery from the Corona infection. The recovery rate is around 87 percent. The positivity rate remains high at 12.20 percent and fatality rate at 2.80 percent. The state conducted 1,50,168 Covid tests yesterday in which 1,10,601 were RT PCR tests.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The state crossed an important milestone in terms of total Covid tests by crossing the three crore mark. As of yesterday the state had cumulatively conducted three crore one lakh 49 thousand 275 tests in which over two crore 50 lakhs 21 thousand were RT PCR tests. As on yesterday one crore 43 lakhs 27 thousand 273 persons in all the categories were either given first or both the dosage of vaccine.</span><br />
