In Afghanistan, eighteen Taliban insurgents were killed during NATO airstrikes in Helmand province. An Afghan National Army official said the insurgents were killed yesterday, when NATO-led airstikes attacked their meeting place in Nad Ali district. Helmand is considered to be a Taliban stronghold in southern part of the country.
