According to officials, 14 people were killed in Georgia, as the fast-moving storms tore across the state throughout the day. <br/><br/>In the State of Mississippi, four people were killed and 50 others injured. State officials said about 480 homes were damaged. A state of emergency has been declared by Governor Nathan Deal in seven counties in south-central Georgia. <br/><br/>The National Weather Service said that southern Georgia, northern Florida and the corner of southeastern Alabama could face forceful tornadoes, damaging winds and large hail. President Donald Trump has expressed his condolences and said about those killed by the powerful tornadoes and pledged federal assistance.
