In Himachal Pradesh, 18 people were killed and 17 others injured in a bus accident in Sirmour district today. Several injured persons are stated to be critical. The injured were initially admitted to Noradhar Hospital but later referred to Rajgarh Health Centre and Solan Zonal Hospital. The accident occurred near Bharari, a remote area in Nauradhar under Sangrah Police Station, when the private bus on its way to Solan from Punardhar rolled down in a deep gorge about 7.20 AM.
Sirmour SP, Sumedha Dwiwedi said, all bodies have been recovered and it will be handed over to the victims' families after post-mortem.
The bus was carrying 35 passengers, mostly students of Rajgarh and Solan colleges.
