In Pakistan, at least 18 militants were killed and several others were injured in US drones attack today in the volatile North Waziristan tribal region. The pilot less spy planes fired three missiles at the hideout at Datta Khel in North Waziristan tribal agency, an area near the Afghan border that has been repeatedly targeted by the drones since last month. US drones have carried out nearly two dozen attacks on al-Qaeda and Taliban elements in Waziristan since early September.
