17th edition of Mumbai International Film Festival witnesses Masterclass by Prasoon Joshi

<span style="color: #222222;">The ongoing 17th edition of Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) 2022 today witnessed Masterclass by renowned lyricist, Prasoon Joshi on the theme 'The Art of Storytelling', who joined the event virtually. While interacting with the cinephiles, Mr. Joshi &nbsp;discussed about the importance of first-hand truth for a writer, which sets the tone of a story. He cited his experience of approaching the subject of ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ in this context. <br />”<br />”While responding to a query on filmmaking, he said, film-making should be easy, so that all the dreams and stories of youngsters come live.The film-making should not be driven by courage, but talent, he added.<br />”<br />”The day also saw another Master Class by Five time National Award winning Wildlife filmmaker Subbiah Nallamuthu. While speaking with the students and film enthusiasts, Mr Nallamuthu said, wildlife film-making is not a career, but a commitment which everybody cannot pursue. Detailing the challenges of wildlife film-making, he said that the difficult part is to get an interesting story and getting it pitched to international channels.&nbsp;</span><br />
