The 17th Asian Games commence in Incheon, South Korea today. While the opening ceremony of the Games will begin at 3:30 PM Indian Time, the events will kick off from tomorrow. In the next 15 days, around 13,000 athletes from 45 nations will compete in 439 events spread across 36 sports and disciplines. The Indian contingent consists of 516 athletes who will participate in 28 sports. Men's Hockey team captain Sardar Singh will be India's flag bearer at the opening ceremony which will be held at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.
