As far as Puducherry is concerned the government set up 17 vaccination centres across the UT.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''According to the Health Department statistics out of 409 persons tested 14 new cases recorded positive with 19 persons discharged from the hospitals, the active cases stood at 171 includes 83 in hospitals and 88 in home isolation. The recovery rate from the infection stands at 97.89 % and the case fatality rate is 1.68 %.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">So far the Health Department conducted 6,39,753 number of tests , of which 5,94,831 were negative. In a recent tweet , Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that the people can now get vaccinated 24 by 7 according to their convenience.&nbsp; All private hospitals were also allowed to give the vaccines if they adhere to the laid down norms.</span><br />
