In Pakistan, seventeen militants have been killed and several others injured in clashes with security forces in Lower Orakzai Agency. The militants attacked six check-posts including Khankhel, Storikhel, Sultanzai and Aanrkhel, injuring at least five security personnel. The security forces repulsed the attacks and inflicted heavy losses on them.While, seven people including three police officials were killed in an encounter at Sheikhaan in Peshawar today. According to official sources, the other four persons killed were proclaimed offenders. The encounter took place when police raided a house in the area to arrest a proclaimed offender.
