In Pakistan, 17 people have been killed in a suicide bomb blast in the north-west of the country. Police said the explosion took place at a busy bus terminal in the garrison town of Kohat's main Tirah bazaar. According to police spokesman Fazal Naeem, the bomber approached the door of the bus carrying passengers to the nearby tribal district of Orakzai and detonated his explosives. He said 20 people were injured in the explosion.
