In Pakistan, at least 17 persons were killed and more than 40 injured when two passenger trains collided near Karachi today. Divisional Superintendent of Railways told reporters that the collision occurred as Zakaria Express struck Fareed Express, which was stationary, between Juma Goth and Landhi Railway Station. <br/><br/>It is reported that Railway officials gave green signal to the train coming from behind by mistake, due to which the accident occurred.<br/><br/>Rescue services have reached the site, and trapped passengers are being pulled out. The injured are being shifted to nearby hospitals.
