In Kolkata 17 youngstars were injured when a water chute collapsed at a reputed amusement park at Salt Lake this afternoon. The Deputy Commissioner Head Quarter of the Salt Lake commissionerate Mr. Subrata Bandyopadhyay told that 6 of the injured have been admitted in a Private Nursing Home. Premilarnary investigation indicates that overcrowding may be the cause of the incident. There were more visitors to the park in view of festival season. Police is investigating wheather there is any lapse of the park authority on maintenance of the water chute. Relatives and friends of the injured showed demonstration in front of the amusement park protesting the negligence of the authority to maintain the playing equipments.
