In Sharjah, an appeal will be filed in a Shariah Court of appeals today against the capital punishment to 17 Indians. <br/><br/>They were recently found guilty by the Sharjah Shariah Court of killing a Pakistani national and injuring three of his compatriots allegedly during a clash in an illegal alcohol business in January,2009.<br/><br/>Diplomatic sources told AIR in Dubai that Indian consulate has hired a Dubai based law firm to represent the Indians. <br/><br/>Earlier, the officers from the consulate met all seventeen Indians and informed that these people are keeping good health.
